Jon Ripp, CFA

Jon joined First National Capital Markets in October 2001. He is currently the vice president of trading & financial strategies, specializing in asset liability management and interest rate risk reporting, and in developing portfolio strategies for the team's financial institutional clients. He also serves as a fixed income trader, trading municipal and taxable bonds for the group.  Previous roles Jon has held include leading the bond accounting and security settlement teams. Jon holds an MBA from Creighton University and a B.A. degree in finance and banking from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.

Jon holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation as well as the Series 7, 24, 27, 63 and 79 FINRA securities licenses. He is a member of the CFA Society of Nebraska and the CFA Institute. Jon volunteers and serves on multiple boards at Saint Margaret Mary Church. He has also previously served on the board of directors for Memorial Little League and All About Omaha, a young professionals group.
